This stratagem is all about encouraging solopreneurs and individuals to pick a digital project and make themselves publicly accountable to encourage action. When you speak something out loud, you give it form. When you tell someone when it will be done, you give it motion and accountability. It doesn't mean you won't fail, but it gives you better odds of getting it done.
Did you know it comes with perks? When you post a completed project, it encourages others as well! That in turn gives you more eyeballs on your comments. More eyeballs on your accountability statements force you to get more done because you know that people are waiting to see the completed project. And the circle starts over.
