The fruit trees and perennials come back strong, whether I’m ready or not, while self-sowing plants bring a fresh round of seedlings without any extra effort.

Here’s the lesson: harvest time isn’t about winding down. It’s about speeding up, preparing the soil, and setting the stage for the next season of growth. The same is true in your side hustle.

Instead of constantly chasing new ideas, look at what’s already working and double down. Strengthen the systems that deliver results, prune the distractions, and add just enough support where growth is already happening.
